When I began juicing, I wanted to know what the best foods were to heal my body. I knew I would then need to incorporate these foods into my daily routine and food intake. I decided to make a list of them which I will share with you:

- All melons are considered powerful forces in the battle against skin cancer.
- Ginger root helps combat colds
- Grapefruit is a great cleanser and makes a wonderful juice for fasting.
- Grapes stimulate the kidneys and regulate the heart.
- Raisins are a good source of iron.
- Lemons are a powerful detox for the body.
- Pears are high in riboflavin, niacin, and folic acid.
- Pineapples are packed with potassium and phosphorus.
- Beets are powerful cleansers of the blood.
- Broccoli is very high in protein.
- Cabbage has an amino acid called glutamine which is excellent for healing stomach disorders.
- Carrots are a blast of energy because they have natural sugars that release into the body quickly.
- Celery is a rich source of organic sodium and is great to juice and add to a post work-out drink.
- Cucumber creates a more youthful complexion.
- Kale is an excellent source of calcium.
- Parsley is a great breath freshener.
- Tomatoes are full of magnesium and sulfur.
