Mrs. Knowles' Coconut Pie

Mrs. Knowles’ Coconut Pies

Makes: 2 round pies.

Ingredients
  • half cup flour
  • 4 eggs 
  • quarter cup melted butter
  • one and a half cups sugar 
  • 2 cups cream or milk
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 x 7 ounce bag coconut 
  • 2 x 14 ounce bags coconut or 2 cups fresh coconut
Instructions
  1. Mix all ingredients together, then fold in coconut.
  2. Butter and flour pan.
  3. Bake until golden brown.
